COMMUNICATION FORUM SCOTLAND (CFS)
Civic Participation Network (CPN) Project - Stage 2
The Civic Participation Network aims to remove barriers to people with communication support needs who wish to be active citizens. This is done through promotion of key messages in Talk for Scotland: a practical toolkit to service providers; organisers of consultation and decision making activities; and trainers in capacity building. We are a small project keen to work with other organisations to promote the equality agenda.

SCOTTISH DISABILITY EQUALITY FORUM (SDEF)
Policy, Information & Parliamentary Function Project
The Scottish Disability Equality Forum (SDEF) is a user-led membership organisation which works across Scotland to remove barriers to the full social inclusion of people affected by disability. SDEF is also the Umbrella Body for Access Panels in Scotland. SDEF works with its members and others to facilitate direct engagement between policy makers and people with disabilities.

Helpline Development Project
Amina - Muslim Women's Helpline is part of the Amina - Muslim Women's Resource Centre and offers a free phone confidential helpline for women wanting information advice or a listening ear in their first language. CHILDREN IN SCOTLAND

A Woman's Worth - Lifelong Learning with the Women's Library of Scotland

CLOSE THE GAP
Close the Gap works with employers and employees to encourage and enable action to address the gender pay gap and its causes: occupational segregation, lack of flexible working, and discrimination within pay systems. Close the Gap's partners include the Scottish Government, Scottish Enterprise, Skills Development Scotland, Highlands and Islands Enterprise, Equality and Human Rights Commission, and the STUC.

National Development Programme (Phase 2)
The organisation operates the only dedicated Minority Ethnic Carers Centre in Scotland. Phase 2 of the project consists in developing effective, appropriate and culturally competent services for minority ethnic (largely SE Asian/Chinese) carers.

The aim of the project is to develop a service which targets young people aged between 14 -19, referred by partner agencies due to displaying signs of racism, religious intolerance, bigotry and sectarianism. Young people are encouraged to commit to a structured development and activity programme, designed to educate and bring together young people from different racial backgrounds.

Access All Areas
Young Scot: Access all Areas is a project aimed at empowering young people from ethnic minority, refugee, asylum seeking and faith groups to influence service provision in their local area, enhance access and promote inclusion. It was developed with a view to involving young people in democratic processes and promoting "informed participation" in local civic structures.
