External Events:
THE SROI NETWORK: SROI Training
SROI is an approach to understanding and managing the value of the social, economic and environmental outcomes created by an activity or an organisation. Organisations who have social objectives will want to know if they are achieving these objectives - SROI is a method that can help organisations design systems that ensure they have the information they need. This information can help in developing strategies to increase the social and environmental value you create, manage activities by comparing performance against forecasts and help communicate with funders and beneficiaries.
The SROI Introductory training that we will be holding provides an introduction to the principles and processes of SROI in one day. This will help those in the third, public, private and voluntary sectors alike to gain a greater understanding of how SROI can help them account for their social, environmental and economic impact.
The Practitioner training, which runs over two days, includes this as well as more in depth issues that practitioners will need to demonstrate an understanding of if they wish to become accredited. This course is suitable for anyone wanting more than just an introduction to SROI. Current issues will be discussed, best practice and techniques shared and lots of examples explored.
